MAPLETON FALLS NATIONAL PARK Just 200 mtrs from Mapleton Falls Accommodation. Cascading 120 mtrs over a series of black basalt rocks, the falls plunge into the cool rainforest gorge below. The lookout provides spectacular views of the gorge &  beyond to the Obi Obi Valley. This glorious National Park protects a remnant patch of forest that once covered much of the Blackall & Conondale Ranges. Though only 26 ha it is home to hundreds of plant, animal & bird species.
